Today, is the end of Mardi Gras and the partying in New Orleans, Rio De Janeiro and other cities and Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent.
The Catholic and most Christian denominations tradition is to give something up for Lent. In years past, I gave up hamburgers, drinking, swearing and a few other things. Sometimes I was successful, other times, no so good.
